About this deal

Numbered cards are worth their face value, while the current numbered wild card is worth twenty points. Each turn starts with either drawing a card from the deck or picking up the top card from the discard pile.

Eventually, I hope to expand the site to include other people writing about their interets (but also concentrating on games, hobbies, and sports). Then, you can use the wild somewhere, maybe to complete another set or run or even just add on to this one. I also include a handy table, breaking down each game in terms of difficulty, number of players, and the time it takes to play. But, you’d be shocked at how many times people will discard one of those special wilds because they forgot what round they were on. Once you mentally connect a wild with a set, it’s not locked in; feel free to adjust it to lower your count at the end or make more cards match.

On each player’s turn, they may either add the top card of the draw or the discard pile to their hand. Watch For Sets Over Runs For Faster Matches – There are 10 of each card, so your odds are pretty good of getting sets. So, in the first round, the three cards will be wild, the four cards will be wild in the second round, and so on.Though not part of the official rules I have seen, our “house rule” is that in case of a tie, the winner is the player who went out the most number of hands. The deck includes five suits with 11 cards in each suit (3 through King), as well as six wild cards. You can come from behind even in the last round; hence the slogan, The game isn't over 'til the Kings go wild!

If you’re looking for other fun solitaire card games, none of which use a traditional 52-card deck, then check out my list on this site. If it’s your final turn after a player has gone out, then you may consider discarding a wild card or joker. We and our partners use data for Personalised ads and content, ad and content measurement, audience insights and product development.

The number of cards dealt increases by one card each deal, and the wild card changes as described above. Once one player goes all out (which means they have played all their cards, minus the one they need to discard), all other players will only have one more turn before the end of the round.

Card Values: Each number card is worth its face value, Jacks are 11 points, Queens are 12, Kings are 13, Jokers are 50, and the current wild card is 20 points. Each number card is worth its face value, the Jacks are 11 points, Queens are 12, Kings are 13, Jokers are 50, and the wild card is 20 points. Right now, that primarily includes board games and sports-related information (with an emphasis on baseball). Each one is worth its value, the round wild is 20 points, and the Aces are 50 points, so make sure to lay them down as soon as possible. The deal passes to the player on the dealer’s left, all cards are shuffled and the next hand is dealt.
