About this deal

These displays are just straight-up gorgeous, with super-high 2560 x 1600 resolution that makes text look sharp and HD video look great. Among our most popular is the Samsung Tab A8 which comes with 3D Quad Dolby Atmos speakers for quality sound, 32GB of storage and 3GB of RAM. The native video app also inexplicably paused during video playback at random times, even if no other apps were running in the background. It’s got more than just resolution on its side too, as the Super AMOLED display delivers bright, rich, vivid images which really pop out. Pay in 3 is a form of credit, may not be suitable for everyone and use may affect your credit score.

The Galaxy Tab S's main competition are the Apple iPad -- the current king of premium tablets -- and the Galaxy Tab Pro -- a comparably specced cousin with a similar user-interface and sleek design. In Samsung's ever-growing and confusing lineup of Android tablets, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S is the latest high line for mid-2014. It's more than enough to handle Samsung's extensive software customizations including multi-window multitasking, multiple concurrent applications and more. It features the most powerful processer in a Galaxy tablet ever, taking productivity to the next level.Enjoy smooth work and play, a stunning 11-inch display, incredible power, and all the multi-tasking features you could want. It's a brutal battle down at the budget end of the tablet market — one that Apple refuses to get involved in — but here we're very much at the premium end of the scale. Tablets are built for single-tasking and there doesn't seem to be any real need to try and turn them into fully fledged computers, but if you think you're going to find the feature useful then by all means power it up. The bezels on the tablet are super-slim, adding to the sleek design of the Tab S, but they don't provide a lot of thumb space for elongated video watching -- even with my small hands.

The front bezels are relatively small, and Samsung uses their usual mechanical home button flanked by capacitive buttons for multitasking and back. It's lighter and has a better screen, sure, but it also feels cheaper and can't compete with Apple's tablet-app ecosystem.

continues to have one of the best screens around, putting up serious competition to the iPad Air 2, Nexus 9, and even the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet. I've heard a lot of complaints about the fingerprint recognition but to be honest it seems to work well once you get the knack of using it.
