About this deal

A man lays mutilated on the ground and a 20 year-old woman pleads that she was kidnapped and did what she could to get loose. These guys as King did as well sell it and I think it was one of my better reads and actually feel like rereading it right now and I have never read a book twice. The novel also keeps slipping back to the siege occurring in the present, with some new characters trying to uncover what Walter and his team are up to as the protagonists provide them with hints about who they are and what they are after. These monikers are all the names of female serial killers from earlier times, black widows who went around killing men and taking all they had. Now I know I may need to explain her further but I hope the just of what she is comes through here and you can appreciate what type of true evil she really is.

In the present day, Commander Rigby of the Detroit PD is facing down against Walter and his crew, who are still threatening to set off a bomb in the nightclub if the individual they are looking for doesn’t come out. She attacks him and runs down the alley, never to be seen again - until 1992, when Walter believes he has identified the woman as Amy Archer. She has gone by a variety of names over the years when people spotted her and it is only recently that things appear to be falling into place. You will honestly have a hard time putting this novel down once you get past the halfway point, especially once the 1992 storyline comes to its shocking end, and the intense revelations and horrific scenes of the next few time periods ensures you will become unerringly trapped as you attempt to find out more about the antagonist and their past.

There, she meets with the shady (but certainly funny) Val (played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus), who tells her that she has a new target, and it's the person responsible for Natasha's death. Along the way, they’ll unlock wisdom for those of us navigating our own coupledoms, and for those still seeking their perfect match. Detroit Police Officer Walter O'Brian arrives at a murder scene his 1st night on the job encountering a 22 yo victim.

Death of the Black Widow will keep you turning pages long into the night, trying to imagine where these authors are going.

One of the best parts of this is that you get to see the growing obsession that Walter builds towards this woman, as meeting her proves to be a defining experience for him. Barker, whose work I previously enjoyed on Dracul(co-written with Dacre Stoker), has already produced two intriguing novels with Patterson, The Coast-to-Coast Murders and The Noise. Barker is the international bestselling author of numerous books, including Dracul and The Fourth Monkey . But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. First published April 19, 2022, Death of a Black Widow is the third time Barker and Patterson have teamed up to produce a thrilling masterpiece. After Thanos' (Josh Brolin) deadly finger snap killed his family in Avengers: Infinity War, Clint adopted the Ronin persona and took his frustrations out on the criminals who somehow survived the snap.
